The Greek island of Lesvos is well known for olives, orchids and birds!   Only 40 miles by 20 it is situated in the Aegean Sea at the end of a major migration route.    Easy to get to, it has to be one of the top birding sites in Europe during the Spring migration.

After three wonderful visits, here is a talk to whet your appetite and show you this small but beautiful, unspoiled country.   The people are warm and friendly, there are carpets of wildflowers and hundreds of birds species.    Having trouble spotting Kruper's Nuthatch, Cirl Bunting and Scops Owl?  This is the talk for you!
